Pages and Content Management
In Webround, page building allows for the assembly of static elements and "smart areas" using ready-to-use components.
Interaction: Right-Click vs. Left-Click
To move quickly within the editor, it is essential to understand how to interact with elements:
- Left-Click: Used for single or multiple selection, dragging & dropping components, and native interaction.
- Right-Click (or Ctrl + Click on Mac): This is the key to everything. It opens the Context Menu, which is indispensable for modifying styles, changing settings, or configuring component logic.
Content Types
The page is organized as a sequence of these components:
1. Canvases
Canvases are the primary sections of the site and represent the horizontal containers where Webround's drag-and-drop components live. In this section, you can add draggable elements whose style can be modified via the Context Menu (right-click). Learn more
2. Carousels
Any Canvas can be organized into a carousel. Carousels allow you to manage sliders for images, testimonials, or products smoothly, optimizing the vertical space of the page.
3. Product Galleries
Dynamic components connected directly to your Webround Commerce store.
- You can insert galleries that update automatically.
- Filters: You can apply one or more filters (by category, tag, price, etc.) to show only the desired products in a specific section. You can create "Best seller" or "New arrivals" sections simply by managing filters, tags, and attributes in your WR Commerce store.
4. Custom Code Sections
For those who need absolute control, you can create sections dedicated exclusively to code. Here you can write your React components and integrate external libraries without interference from the no-code builder. Learn more
Remember that almost every style parameter (shadows, border-radius, spacing) is accessible only via right-clicking the specific component. If you can't find a setting, it's probably in the context menu!
Do not confuse right-clicking on the Canvas (the element container) with right-clicking on individual components: each element has its own specific context menu.
